SUMMARY:Skill-Transfer Workshop Gletscher+Spaltenbergung
DESCRIPTION:Felix and Nick would like to invite you to the crevasse and rope work skill transfer workshop on the 15th or 16th of June. As with all skill transfer workshops\, this is not intended as an instruction for beginners but rather it is an opportunity to practice skills and discuss and share experience and lessons learned. We plan to practice the following topics:\n(1) z-pulley setup and rescue\,\n(2) self rescue / rope ascending\,\n(3) transition from guide mode belay to lowering (also\, escaping a belay)\, \nWe will practice these skills in a controlled environment at a crag near Zurich (with additional belays where necessary). We will select the venue and the day based on the group and the weather closer to the weekend.
