As part of the skill transfer series in 2022, I promised to organize next event in the series: an introduction to piton climbing. Plan is to do it in two parts: one day in Alpstein on Saturday 11th June and a week of climbing in Julian Alps (Slovenia) planned in second week in August. Slovenian part of the plan will be discussed among the interested ones.

In Alpstein I will try to show the required equipment, placement and removal of pitons, building up anchors,… and in Slovenia, one has a plenty of options to try the newly learned skills 🙂
