As every year, the AACZ celebrated its foundation at the Stiftungsfest on the Windgälenhütte. More than 30 Huttli came up with the occasion, many of them now with family. Depending on preferences the journey was planned very differently. Some got up early to tackle alpine destinations. A group of four came from Zurich via racing bike adding Klausenpass to their route. The smaller participants fought successfully and bravely with their personal “Klausenpass” with a four-hour ascent from the Golzern cablecar station to the hut. Fortunately, there were many crystals to find, so that the mood was rarely bad.

While the CC hold its regular meeting at the hut, the team around Anina and Wisi prepared the Apéro, which we were allowed to enjoy on the terrace, unfortunately without sun. Afterwards we enjoyed a fine Pasta-Plausch.

Also from an Alpine perspective, the Stiftungsfest was once more memorable. The sport climbing crags were used extensively and Chli Windgällen was also climbed. A highlight, however, was certainly the probably just 20th ascent since 1945 of Ruchenfensterturm via South Wall by Tim and Jens, followed by climbing Gross Windgällen via S-Sporn by Tim and Andrés the next day.
